Singha Lite contains water, yeast, malt, and hops. We regularly test all of our raw
ingredients for gluten.
A small portion of people get celiac disease due to gluten, a protein component found in several
grains like barley and wheat. Although barley includes gluten, a large portion of it is broken
down and removed during the brewing process. However, some traces may still be present and could
cause an allergic reaction in those who are sensitive to gluten. Certain beers may be fine for
some celiac patients to drink, but not all of them will be because gluten sensitivity varies. In
Thailand, beers with no more than 20 mg/Kg of gluten can be labelled as ‘Gluten-free’. Less than
10 mg/kg (less than 0.001%) of gluten is present in Singha Lite.
